Dr. Britt Causey, a specialist in pediatric dentistry, is originally from Ahoskie, North Carolina. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Peace College in Raleigh, North Carolina. She earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2005. She then worked in private practice and public health for nine years. During this time, she discovered her love for treating children and adolescents. Desiring to learn more about pediatric-focused dentistry, she then completed the Postdoctoral Pediatric Dentistry Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
Dr. Causey is an active member in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry. In 2017, Dr. Causey achieved Diplomate status as a board-certified pediatric dentist with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Her husband, Dr. Matt Causey, is originally from Burlington, North Carolina. He is a general dentist and professor at the ECU School of Dental Medicine. They have one daughter, Abigail. Outside of work, Dr. Causey enjoys spending time with her family.
