Kids cry - it's OK. They are often afraid of anything
new and unfamiliar.
We will strive to gain their confidence and trust
quickly. With patient, simple explanations; gentle,
skilled hands; and true love of young people, we
introduce our patients to dentistry in a way that has a
profound effect on their lifelong healthy dental habits.
Usually we examine the hard and soft tissue of the mouth
and surrounding areas. We clean and apply a topical
fluoride to our patients' teeth at the initial
examination appointment. If needed, x-rays may be taken
to determine your child's present dental condition.
Treatment appointments usually are scheduled before you
leave our office.

Orthodontic
Examinations
Our
orthodontists will examine you or your child for
development of the face and jaws, proper tooth
alignment, and health of bony and soft tissues. After
thorough diagnosis and case study, you will be scheduled
for a consultation to explain and plan orthodontic
treatment if needed.
For either pediatric or orthodontic examinations, one
adult or both parents are welcome to be present.
However, for safety and privacy, children who are not to
be treated are asked to remain in the reception room
with a supervising adult. Many parents choose to allow
young patients to go to the treatment area by
themselves.
